Obama/Webb '08 - The Banner

Obama_webb I was starting to think this was an exercise in futility until  this "banner" featuring the Obama/Webb ticket showed up in my e-mail this afternoon.

I've had curious -- and slightly discouraging -- reactions to this website and idea since I started it.  I've asked a few friends, and people at barackobama.com, to help spread the word, and I've gotten a number of responses like "let Barack pick whoever he wants to pick... he knows what he's doing...." etc. etc.

Well of course Senator Obama knows what he's doing if he didn't we wouldn't be having this conversation.  But what's wrong with the electorate making a contribution to the VP selection?  We can do that now, you know?  We've got this Internet thing at our disposal.

There's no guarantee -- or even the expectation -- that anybody's going to listen anything that is offered here.  But I'm betting I'm not the only one who thinks this is a good idea, so this website is here to gather whatever collective influence we can muster.

So thanks, Jay Wyatt, for the banner -- and the encouragement.

Haha that dude emailed me the same banner too, because of this post (http://a517dogg.blogspot.com/2008/05/obamas-vp-how-about-clark.html ). He is dedicated.

I also think Webb would be a good choice for VP.
