Yeah, what HE said:
Sure, it's easy to deify Barack Obama, to cast upon him all our wishes and dreams for the future of our country. But what is the alternative?
An open letter to DNC Chairman Howard Dean:
I am not convinced that Obama will be a great or even a good president; the vagaries of his policies and of his commitment to battle give me real pause. But I am convinced that if we do not choose him, if we do not take the chance on this man who suggests such extraordinary possibilities, we will all know we have chosen despair.

It was actually pretty nice to hear Ronnald Reagan speaking about Obama the way he did last night on CNN. I suppose he was not too happy with his own father's way of doing things, but then that was all "water under the bridge" a long time ago.
